The one that is obviously from a desert is from San Pedro, at the Cordillera de la Sal lookout point on the way into the city, which was the first place we stopped. Then there's a water spot from my gym locker room that dried in the shape of a heart. And finally a delicious cookie from the other day! I love seeing hearts, I always feel like it's just a little uplifting sign that things are ok."

Anyway it reminded me that I hadn't yet sent you this photo I took in Laos. The heart (which also might have been an actual sole to a shoe and not just an imprint) was in a small village just outside Luang Prubang, Laos where we stayed. It is a beautiful small city, all of which is a World Heritage site—I recommend it highly!!!! The main purpose of the trip, though, was to visit Siem Reap, Cambodia and our Sara LaBoskey school there—that was really magical for all of us."
