Dr. Steve Roth, Chief of Pediatric Cardiology, followed grateful family speakers who shared their stories about the care and expertise they encountered at the hospital. Dr. Roth highlighted the fellow program which allows the best and brightest doctors at the beginning of their careers to make exceptional contributions to the research and care provided by the Children’s Heart Center. The cost of one fellowship for a year is $100,000 and through the “Fund a Fellow” auction, participants pledged enough money to support three cardiac fellowships next year. The event raised a total of 1.9 million for LPCH."
