• The Link: "Precita Park is around the corner from my home in Bernal Heights. In the middle of the park is a beautiful bench which is a memorial to two teenagers who were killed in the park in 1996. It was built from cedar and the metal of melted guns. The 900 tiles of the walkway were hand painted by community members before being installed. I noticed during my morning coffee just how many hearts figured into those tiles."
